Elevating Work Platform (EWP)
Our 1-day course is designed to ensure that participants have the skills and knowledge required to operate an elevating work platform under 11m.
WorkSafe Connect’s EWP under 11m course is appropriate for construction, maintenance, and mining industries.
The program is made up of the following nationally accredited unit of competency:

You may be eligible to receive Construction Skills Queensland funding for this course if you are a worker or an apprentice / trainee in the building and construction industry.
Our Elevating Work Platform (EWP) Under 11 m involves the operations of a telescoping device, hinged device, or articulated device or any combination of these used to support a platform on which personnel, equipment and materials may be elevated to perform work.
During the EWP course students will cover the following topics:
Training will be conducted by one of our experienced high risk trainer assessors who have industry currency, strong knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations and industry standards.
Practical and theoretical activities drive the training experience to ensure that the training is engaging, interesting and relevant.

To complete the course, students must successfully complete all assessments which are aligned with the national unit of competency.
All assessments are completed during the course – no assessment activities need to be completed prior to or post the training course.
