Bomb Threat Management Training - WorkSafe Secure

Bomb Threat Management is the training accreditation suitable for people who are required to have an understanding of bomb threats.

Our 3-hour course focuses on the key role that you can play in developing and implementing appropriately informed preparedness and response arrangements to reduce the risks posed by bomb threats.

The Bomb Threat training course focuses on key areas including:

  • Procedures - Ensure dedicated procedures are in place to manage bomb threat incidents
  • Training - Undertake training to respond to the threat appropriately
  • Assistance - Have on hand and use the telephone bomb threat checklist
  • Safety - Follow response safety precautions appropriate to the situation and seek assistance

This course is for individuals who may be exposed to, or responsible for managing, bomb threat risks in their workplace. It is particularly relevant to security and safety personnel, government employees, corporate and facilities managers, property managers, transport and logistics staff, critical infrastructure workers, and those involved in emergency planning, response, or council operations. 

Course Description

WorkSafe Connect’s Bomb Threat Management training offers guidelines that reflect the Australian Standards in relation to threat assessment, situation management and incident response.

Accreditation 

To complete the course, students must successfully complete assessments which are all completed during the course – no assessment activities need to be completed prior to or post the training course.

Upon successful completion of the course requirements, students will receive a Statement of Completion.

Certificate delivery:

  • Courses at our facilities: Certificates are issued on the day, with digital copies emailed to participants and employers (if applicable) the following business day.
