About the Course

Licence to Operate EWP over 11m & EWP under 11m

This nationally recognised training course is designed for participants completing their High Risk Work Licence for boom-type elevating work platforms over 11 metres who also want to broaden their skills and gain recognition for operating elevating work platforms under 11 metres, all within the same 3-day training program.

This program is made up of the following nationally recognised units of competency:

  • TLILIC0005 – Licence to Operate a Boom-Type Elevating Work Platform (Boom Length 11 Metres or More)
  • RIIHAN301E – Operate Elevating Work Platform

Designed around real workplace applications, this course combines hands-on practical training with industry-relevant knowledge to prepare participants to safely operate a range of elevating work platforms commonly used throughout construction, maintenance, infrastructure and industrial workplaces.

Who Should Attend

This course is designed for workers who require a High Risk Work Licence to operate boom-type elevating work platforms over 11 metres and would also like to gain the nationally recognised unit of competency for operating elevating work platforms under 11 metres, including the safe use and operation of scissor lifts commonly used for low-level and indoor access work.

It is particularly suited to those working in construction, mining, infrastructure, maintenance, telecommunications, utilities and other industries where a range of elevating work platforms are used.
